A dog is the heart realised everyday for me.
Charlie, my Scottie, gives me reason to connect with nature and passing strangers everyday. He helps me to open up an inner space where I can listen to these incredible strings of wisdom, that clearly belong to the great violin, playing the song that belongs to us all.
Not everyone has a musical ear and not everyone has an ear for the sacred, mystical or that which awaits the broken hearted.
I have an ear for that which longs to be heard – lost perspective – the warmth of life itself.
I have the ear to hear the blossoming of my soul as it gently nudged me into the romance of living life on Earth.
Metaphors, poems, endless writings on perspective – the stream doesn’t stop nor does my being stop listening.
I cherish every ounce of attention from the sacred voice that has not only healed me, it showed me how to accept who I am. It helped me hold Natalie as she broke down in her own pool of self hate; where suicide awaited my agreement to just do it – to go.
That voice of inner peace, healed me. It’s so powerful when it speaks! So clear and sure!
“You give value to your failures and not your heart – is that smart?”
It recently stated, to which I chuckled and said – “how odd, you’re right!”
Although the path to self realisation and awakening is not only slow but it’s painful and anything but graceful, it’s worth every second of your attention.
There is more truth in your fall than someone gripping onto the life they lead, in vain hope – it is going somewhere. A door will appear to heaven.
Yes, that door we all believe in, doesn’t exist.
The day we were born we walked through the door and into this waking life. The door swung open at birth and said – welcome home! This is your life! Your way! But don’t forget, every door has a frame and every frame has a wall to be held in. Every wall holds a purpose and that purpose is sacred whilst you live as you. Do you understand?
Yet most of us forget and slowly that wall becomes an enemy. The frame a target, the door an illusion – the gateway to heaven.
How many of us realise we are the walk? The door? The frame? And above all else – that which glues it all together? How many of us realise we agreed to this space when we came to Earth as a human and these walls are precious? How many of us realise that, what went through the door at birth, was the greatest gift of all time – us. You. Me.
This life is not limited by circumstances or the noise of traffic, leaving you empty and pointless whilst you look at your wall and Long for the other side.
This life gives you everything you seek right here.
Yet how many of us know that? Act on it? See and feel it? Accept it? Hold it? Cherish it?
I will. Slowly.
“You do belong and are part of something Natalie. You are a part of this stream of thought that knows itself beyond flesh and blood. You are the new human – and when you finally say – YES I AM – or not finally – but when you feel it’s true, then all peace and resources will come to you.
What more evidence can we give? You’re in a movie full of mirrors. Everything serves to reflect and deflect . It’s all you and it’s all everything. “
